Meet Staci & Traci

After graduating high school we were southbound to Prairie View, TX in the summer of ’89 to make our mark at Prairie View A&M University. Two little small town country girls coming to a HBCU was something new and exciting, but the Prairie View’s Marching Band kicked it up a notch when we first saw them perform at the Dallas Cotton Bowl game in the Battle of the Bands. Years passed and we were always in awe of how the band’s director’s, George “Prof” Edwards could make the band just tear up the Gridiron at halftime. Fall of ’93 was the year when PV’s band went from Prairie View Marching Band to the “Marching Storm.” Hearing “The B.O.X.” loud drums bounce off the walls coming down through the tunnel onto the field sent chills down our spines until it felt like time stood still.

After graduating from Prairie View A&M University we moved along with our lives living in our careers, but never had the true happiness of what we were doing. It was until I (Staci) moved from Houston to Philly to pursue a career in my field of computers is when I was introduced to the music of so many independent music artist. A friend introduced me to soulful sounds of Frank McComb to and it was then I had to know this man. Traci and I would always throw big parties and were able draw big crowds, but it was when I came back to Houston to see Frank McComb perform at the Breakfast Klub, Traci approached me about doing a business to feature independent music artists. Of course, I said no out of fear of not succeeding, but once I got back to Philly, it was then I realized what do I have to lose because there is a need for change in the Houston music market and what better way to do it than bring in artist like Frank McComb, Deborah Bond, Conya Doss, Eric Roberson, Dwele, Rhonda Thomas and so on.

So from my saying yes, Twyn Sol Productions was born and we are here to make our mark within the world of good music. It was in God’s design to bring us through this journey we are now on. Our goal is to build a community that knows what it feels like to appreciate and love real artist who produce real music. I just pray our audience see our vision and rock with it the way we are rolling with it.
